Thankfully playing on pro isn't quite as bad tbh. Curious to see how it compares.

They’re releasing this on the Switch 2… I genuinely wonder how that’s going to turn out?..

Well, on PC it can significantly scale down (to the some pretty extreme levels that look quite bad tbh haha), so the scalability is probably there, now the just need to get the stuttering issues fixed before then

the stuttering is cpu dependent though...how is switch 2 going to cope?

--Onilink--4d ago

I wouldn’t really says its been confirmed that the stuttering is “CPU dependent”, as most stutters, the lower the CPU the worse it will be, but that doesn’t mean that the stutters are happening because the game is CPU bound at those points.

Not really much to be done until the game gets patched more to see what we might be able to expect from a Switch 2 port

New airline warning, next year: If passengers have got Oblivion Remastered installed on their Switch 2s, please refrain from playing during the flight's tenure. There have been reports of Switch 2 exploding whilst playing that game.

I was enjoying it, but im gonna shelf it while i catch up on my backlog and see what gets patched in the meantime. Hopefully better optimized and maybe a classic color filter by then 🤞

As long as that archaic engine is still in play, this issue won't be resolved for Bethesda's games
