GungHo has just begun physical pre-orders for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter at various retailers in the West with new localization information revealed for the upcoming remake.
The fantastic looking Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter may have just had its release date leaked. According to Canadian retailer VGP, the ground-up remake arrives on the 25th September — which is an oddly specific date that's unlike your usual placeholders. The store even had social media posts lined up to announce said date, again suggesting that someone's in the know.
Can't believe I started this series for the first time recently on steam, played the first 3 trilogy and they're remaking it 😅
Falcom has released a new trailer, information, and screenshots for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter introducing the eight main characters and their voice cast, including Estelle Bright, Joshua Bright, Scherazard Harvey, Olivier Lenheim, Agate Crosner, Kloe Rinz, Tita Russell, and Zin Vathek.
Playing Suikoden 1&2 right now, this is being remade, Lunar is coming out, Xenoblade Chronicles X. I have some hope for Vagrant Story and Xenogears.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, formerly The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st, will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam as a simultaneous worldwide release in fall 2025, developer Nihon Falcom announced. It will be published by GungHo Online Entertainment in the west with English and Japanese voice-overs, and English, Japanese, French, and German subtitles. It is a full remake of the original story RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky.
