TNS: I'm concerned about the Onimusha: Way of the Sword trailer's tone which, frankly, feels way off compared to where it should be.
I actually like the kinda goofy protagonist, it's a change of pace for the franchise and may make the dramatic scenes hit harder during the campaign
Same, also people can't sit there and tell someone to fix there character personality like that. If that's how they want it so be it. Besides Japanese goofy and comedy be hilarious.
Yeah I like the unserious, goofy protagonist who's actually super skilled
Makes him feel likeable and separates his character from all the other serious and brooding warriors we get in these types of games.

I'll be honest, this aspect was one of the few that made me pay attention to the trailer. I quite enjoyed it.

Finally, a current gen game. The blade hitting a mark rather than a hitbox. This is what I expected of of the PS5/XBSX generation.

I hope they offer the original Japanese voice acting. The off-sync dialog and the English VO choice sounds a bit too goofy. Rest looks very promising.
That State of Play streaming on the Playstation youtube account had the official Japanese voice on perfectly with english subs. Strange that now the seperated trailer has the english dub. It looks awful compared to the Japanese voice.

I cannot express how hyped I am for this! Sheeeiiit, I’m actually hyped for Onimusha 2 Remastered. Definitely will platinum that bad boy!

It looks great. I will definitely put Japanese voices on as it doesn’t match up well with the English one for me, but that’s just me.
Im so excited for this, I hope they do it justice with a great story.
