Gamebosh:
"Cute and cuddly, with a rather interesting story behind it (and subsequently, a lot of dialogue to tap your way through), Shadows of Almia is a fairly enjoyable romp, that should keep fans of the series busy. Admittedly, some may find it a little repetitive in places, while others may whine about the sheer amount of text that you have to read. Ultimately though, it should appease the target audience, and maybe even keep them quiet for a bit!
Positives:
+ Easy to use, touch screen controls
+ Blends classic Pokemon elements with unique features
+ Tells an intriguing story
Negatives:
- Can get slightly repetitive
- A lot of dialogue to scroll through"
XMNR: Local retailers aren't running with any big crazy coupon deals on new games this week like they have in previous weeks but there area a number of older games discounted from a little to practically free. Notable sales this week include Pokemon Ranger and Pokemon Dungeon games for only $4.99 at Toys R Us, Medal of Honor for $19.99 at Kmart and the DJ Hero 2 Turntable bundle for just $19.99 at Toys R Us.
This week also has a few hardware deals including Gift Cards for the Xbox 360 and Kinect bundles at two different retailers and a Gift Card for Kinect with the purchase of a game.
Craig Hasselback writes: "This week's cosplay babe of the week was a toughy. She's associated with one of the most popular video game franchises in the history of gaming, but more for the merchandising and cartoons than being a gym leader in red and blue. The moment we see Misty, we instantly say "gotta catch 'em all".
So of course this week's cosplay babe of the week is the cute and adorable Misty from the world of Pokemon - the unimaginably popular video game franchise from Nintendo that started on the Game Boy and has graced every piece of Nintendo hardware since, as well as spawned countless pieces of collectible merchandise, cartoons, movies and more. Pokemon shows the influence that a game can have on the public and the staying power as well. "
WHOA!!! Misty never had knockers like that. lol Sorry if I offended anyone, but that err "stand out". Like she's smuggling a couple Pokeballs in there. HA!
all of us in college are getting back in the pokemon craze with hgss and we talked about how we missed the old series.
and a course misty, Ann Chovy.
I hope the guys at GoFanboys are allowed to publish the photos. It doesn't look like that they have done all the photos by themselves.
A light week for RPG deals overall, but Final Fantasy XIII is marked down, plus a discount on Pokmans and a few bucks off the .hack//Link import.
