Silent Hill f Will Not Release In Australia After Being Refused Classification

Konami and NeoBards Entertainment's Silent Hill f has been refused classification and will not be released in Australia.

My country's ratings board is a world wide pathetic embarrassment and a revolting stain on the gaming industry. They deserve to be ridiculed and laughed at. Their pretentious and outdated views on what adult gamers can and can't play is riot-worthy. Konami will remedy this or appeal or some shit hopefully. Luckily though, all PS5 games are region free. So I'll just get it from another country.

"Combat is described as particularly gruesome, with frequent blood-splatter effects and scenes depicting large bloodstains throughout the environment. Enemy attacks can result in graphic injuries, including impalement to the neck and facial mutilation. Additionally, cutscenes depict gruesome acts such as a character being burned alive, a woman branded with a hot iron, and characters sawing off their own limbs or slicing off facial portions during rituals. It's not as bad as it sounds. This refusal is the result of an automatic process determined by an algorithm, based upon answers to an initial questionnaire. The next step is for the game to be assessed by an actual person.

it wasnt as difficult as u think, as Australia was a PAL region and most european, if not all, games had english language options.

If you want to buy games on release, importing has always been the cheaper option if you live in Aussie. Been doing it since the PS3 time. The only reasonable game prices offered in Aussie is by the used section at EB Games LOL

True but I've found shipping typically kills it when all said and done the base game is cheap but when they ask for 20 plus to send a satchel it brings it inline with JB unless you have somewhere specific you go cause I typically spend about 80 odd on a new game sometimes more I tend to go physical because it's so much cheaper here

Yeah...JB at times offers good prices not far from launches, there's that, I agree. But is shipping thatuch more expensive now? I have since left Aussie but back then, it was not that expensive. I visited last year and yeah, those prices are more criminal now than back during the PS3 days. AU$129 for Rise of Ronin even several months after release?? F that! But I did snatch new copy of Forspoken for AU$9 at EB LOL

On PC just torrent with a VPN, only Steam DRM easy to crack. If anything is banned and you can take it just do it, fuck all that bullshit lol.

It's pretty new so I think they will likely cancel those orders if hey legally can't sell it here we are probably better off going to playasia or whatever (it's been so long since ive had to get around this crap I don't think I've imported anything since stuck of truth on PS3)

It's extremely rare. So rare it's hard to remember when the last time it happened. But it turns out that it is not refused clasification at all. It was some sort of mix up or error. A story will come out about it soon
