Push Square: "Regardless of whether you’re a big JRPG fan or not, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a game you should be looking out for. Its impeccable art design and high-concept premise make it incredibly easy to be drawn into its world. Great character drama and a growing depth to character builds and combat will invest you even further. We may have only scratched the surface with our demo time, but if Sandfall Interactive is able to keep it up over the course of the full game, we could be onto something truly special here."
WTMG's Kyle Nicol: "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is truly something special, combining some fantastic turn-based combat and RPG progression with a heartfelt and well-told story about dealing with loss and paving the way for the future. It’s one of the finest RPGs in years and will likely be remembered for years to come."
Kepler Interactive and Sandfall Interactive have announced that the turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has now sold over 2 million copies.
Awesome! All the success is well deserved. My GOTY right now. Damn what an amazing game
It's a great game no doubt well deserved success but i must say i'm in act 2 right now and i don't quite get the super crazy reception for the game, i mean 9.7 on user reviews on metacritic is insane.. seems a bit absurd.
Just ordered myself a physical copy, but it isn't due to arrive until the 24th May. Gives me time to complete The Last of Us Part 2 (I know, I know, I'm behind the times).
TSaA writes: An active turn-based RPG that's full of charm, style and varied combat ideas, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an exceptional take on the JRPG.
Cant wait to play this day one on game pass!
