For a meagre £4400 you can have an i9 14900k, 64gb, 1tb NVMe, 3tb SSD and a RTX 5090... actually I think it might be more now as the 5090 has gone up in price since I got mine, it'll go down again once in better supply.

That's just down to some terrible optimization on PC tbf. Hopefully Capcom can sort that out soon.

I bought it on series X, but it'll be a month before I'll be able to get to it. Hopefully any remaining issues are ironed out by then. This is my first monster hunter game, so I'm excited to give it a try.

I formally jumped to PS5 Pro last year, but I definitely would have gone Series X version if the Pro didn't exist.

The Pro, although crazy expensive, still gives the best console version available for the next 2 years or so...

Also hoping GTA6 can somehow hit 60fps 🫣

Red dead 2 ran at 30fps on jaguar cpu's in ps4 and xbox one...unless gta 6 is a revolution, a 60fps mode at whatever 1080p or more res should be expected. Just don't see why people think it's impossible with how much we know right now.

I'd take a 40 fps mode tbh. It'd perfectly playable. 50% more frames over 30 is a good boost

I'm assuming the world is going to be much more dense than RDR2. Plus we still didn't get that 60fps update on RDR2

I only bought it on Pro instead of PC because I had a $30 credit on PSN. I would have went with the PC version otherwise.

yes the pc version is a hot mess and the playstation version is somewhat better

hopefully some updates can fix most of the issues

You know I have to say that this debate is valid. Despite my opinions on Sony, this is the time when power, performance, budget and patience all play factors into whether you as a gamer make an informed choice.
