I've played almost every game in the series and so far, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition feels like a very different beast.

They surely will, but only once Switch 3 is out. Just to make us really beg for it :-D
It most likely will have the Switch 1 version on it with a download for Switch 2 version. Hope I’m wrong but the way they are doing keycards I think it’s likely.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition version 1.0.2 update just released, and the patch notes cover everything that's included.
The original has been in my backlog since it came out. I’m not sure to play that, or to simply get the new one-to add to my backlog :/
My biggest gripe with the game is you have to spend 20-40 hours to get to the mechs. I’m not interested in trying that again, but I REALLY wanted to love that game.
