Clearly don't know what you're talking about.

Sims has been comfortable for fat too long! Just look at the Expansion and DLC situation, they've been getting away with it for years because for some reason, people keep buying the DLC and expansions, when it's stuff that should be included from the get go and not just that but a lot of it is the same price or just shy of a full game.

Hopefully this will give it some competition, we'll see

Just what I was thinking. As far as I'm concerned I strongly disliked TS4, and their decision to sack off future games and milk that game indefinitely was disappointing.

They are badly in need of competition.

And? The game is in Early Access and Sims 3 has like a million DLC that people have sunk an ungodly amount of money into since 2009... Why even bother with this comparison?

MDTunkown14d ago

There was an article where a dev told early access contributions is around 80% sales

thorstein14d ago

And do you know that they're early access was before these articles? Very high. Most people are waiting for more content.

Palitera13d ago (Edited 13d ago )

This is not truth for most games. The biggest moment usually is the actual release, by far.

badboyz0914d ago

It's early access and requires high pc specs.

MDTunkown14d ago

Releasing an very demanding game + early access when the target audience are sims fans who are mostly girls who are most of times playing on laptops (also Mac laptops) wasn’t the best idea
