Ahh greed.. definitely my favourite sin.

Wait i feel like i’ve said this about Sony in the 2020’s multiple times hmm.

What you want a cookie?
Dude thinks he discovered something.
Sony has always been greedy.
They’ve just been tolerable.

Same with MS and Nintendo.
Big companies will chose profit 9/10 times.

Actually companies will choose profit 100% of the time, all of the time. :D

Yeah I know it is surprising to some but when youre running a business in which thousands of employees depend on your success to keep their jobs you kinda want to make money in order to keep them employed.

CrimsonWing6984d ago

So, let me get this straight, you think a business shouldn’t prioritize making money? They should just make the bare minimum to stay afloat?

They are in the business of providing a good to consumers in hopes that people give them money and as much money as they can get. Plain and simple.

Do they overstep at times? Hell yes and it’s absolutely sh*tty, but if people feed them money for those practices, we have nobody else to blame but the people that give in. Thank god the mass came together and didn’t let Concord become the future of PlayStation like they believed it would. I hope they stick together for all the GaaS stuff coming our way, so Sony learns and gets back to making the games we loved them for in the first place.

And some think Sony will slow down fbe releases. We will see some games launch day one on Pc along with playstation and others will come 6 or 12 months after release

Helldivers 2 ...we already are seeing simultaneous release.

Hideo Kojima is a little bummed as Death Stranding 2 is testing way better

"I'm not interested in appealing to the mass market, or selling millions of copies."

jznrpg10h ago

I’m replaying the first game it’s great. It’s not for everyone no doubt. There are still a lot of people playing it.

-Foxtrot10h ago

Then why do a sequel straight away?

Why not something else like maybe a horror game similar to Silent Hills but rebranded into a new IP.

Reverse psychology...ok I won't buy it then.

Eonjay1h ago

To be honest, he is in a great situation if he doesn't have to make a mass market product. Means he can make what he wants. I think that's great.

Palworld preview - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "Overall, while it certainly has similarities to Pokémon, it's more a survival-style game that happens to have collectible monster-style features and both are pretty fun. Technically, aside from a few minor gripes with controls and performing certain actions, it's pretty solid and quite stable. Morally, it's got some mild if cartoonish violence with little else of note. Overall, I enjoy Palworld, and if you want a survival sim mixed with collectible monsters to make your pals, this is a great game with those themes."
