Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel Will Only Feature First-Person Perspective

Cyberpunk 2077's sequel will remain exclusively in first-person, according to a recent job listing for a Senior Gameplay Animator. This confirms the absence of the highly requested third-person perspective.

First-Person is a big part of the game's identity. The eye-contact, scenes where you're in a car ride, in bed talking with a woman, or drinking at a bar, first person works very well to pull you in.

That's fine and all, but doesn't have to be always first person. Just kills the immersion for me. Having it in first, only when needed would have been the better choice.

@Michiel1989 some of the best games did it both and they had no issues. RDR2, MGSV. Options in a game are vital.

Is anyone surprised? I know people got their butt's all hurt when they decided to go first person on the first, but in the end that's what we got. I'm in no way surprised they are following up the same way.
