I appreciate the transparency more, it's definitely nice to know where these games will be releasing. Shame Sony doesn't do that with their trailers.

Terry_B113d ago

Actually they do. When a Sony game gets released on Playstation and PC at the same time. Like seen in the Helldiver II Launch Trailer as example. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

pwnmaster3000113d ago (Edited 113d ago )

Lmaoo I love the spin you guys are doing.

When Ms was buying up all this publishers, yall were cheering because more exclusive for you guys.
Now MS did a 180.
Xbox fanboys: “ I love this move by MS, GaMErZ unite. Sony needs to do the same”

Now we have this BS lol. “Sony needs to be more transparent “
Yall are funny. Yall need to just hush and sit down. I’m sure MS will come back lmao.

Pepsi_Man3000113d ago

lmao remember when they were saying microsoft should buy sega?

Reaper22_113d ago

"When Ms was buying up all this publishers, yall were cheering because more exclusive for you guys."

Sony was doing the same thing(just bits and pieces) and got exposed during the Activision Blizzard deal. As matter of fact it was one of the main reasons the deal was allowed. So every time people say they(Microsoft) are buying up whatever just remember that fact.

InUrFoxHole112d ago

Some of us were cheering because it guaranteed games coming to xbox. I prefer all gamers to play how they want.

pwnmaster3000112d ago (Edited 112d ago )

@Reaper22_
Your argument has nothing to do with my comment.
Like I said yall need to just hush and sit down.

MS got you guys not thinking right lmaoo

GotGame818112d ago (Edited 112d ago )

Game Pass isn't going to be on PlayStation. It's everywhere but. Sony won't allow it. That said, if you purchase a few Microsoft games for PlayStation you will be paying $40 to $70 for a pretty long time once they release months later on PS5. Microsoft may start releasing games on all platforms simultaneously, but not anytime soon.

There are a ton of great Microsoft games, still better off just using a PC or Xbox and Game Pass. Plus you get EA Play with GP

I'm not a Fanboy I just like games.

Sitdown112d ago

What are you talking about? You are arguing two different point. Wanting to know what games are exclusive to xbox and buying all the publishers and making more exclusives are two different things. People for years got tired of Microsoft saying "world premiere" and other such things, and wanted to know if the games were Microsoft exclusive. Then Microsoft started coming out with "console exclusive". People have also been saying the same thing with Sony...when you see a commercial and in the end it has the playstation branding....but comes to other systems. Drop the fanboy division tactics and at least pay attention to the comment; not need to go defense mode.

pwnmaster3000112d ago

@Sitdown

Be like your username and hush up and sit down.
Again another fanboy not getting what I’m implying.
“ Drop the fanboy division tactics and at least pay attention to the comment; not need to go defense modE”
Take your advice and pay attention to mine.

CrashMania112d ago (Edited 112d ago )

It's funny isn't it, transparency from the company that hides Xbox profit numbers , that used word salad language in the past like 'console launch exclusive', this #sonytoo goalpost moving is hilarious.

Sitdown112d ago

@pwnmaster3000

Nice retort, as nothing you said addressed the point. Keep waving the banner.

raWfodog112d ago

Taking a page out of someone else's book who likes to say that Playstations are now Xboxes just because Xbox 1st party games are available on PS. So I guess this means that now Xbox showcases are now PS showcases, huh?

Sony doesn’t release their games on Xbox so why would they put an Xbox label?

Nevermind, you knew what you said was Bs.

Sitdown112d ago (Edited 112d ago )

Who is responsible for releasing the baseball game on xbox? You do realize this applies to third party games as well right? So it won't look like they are exclusive to a console correct?

crazyCoconuts112d ago

Yeah you know... Sony is still in the business of selling consoles...

gold_drake112d ago

the backpaddeling tho ha

love it.

Terry_B113d ago

No wonder, they truly are just a third party developer now.

Abear21113d ago

Yeah and you’d think this is common sense, advertising your products. Everyone knows that deep down Microsoft is going to lazy port and barely support their cash grabs on other systems, they barely care to quality control software on their own system.

To think a Sony port will run better than on an Xbox, I can’t see it happening. M$ is too petty and proud, as evidenced by this article being surprised they would ever put another logo on their games’ trailer.

lukasmain113d ago

It has already happened. Doom Dark Ages will be fully supported by PS5 Pro. They are trying to sell games on other consoles, they are not going to half-ass it. They want the product to be as good as it can be.

badz149113d ago

@lukasmain

just so their loyal fanbase only have to subscribe to GP and continue not to buy their games. good guy MS

InUrFoxHole112d ago

You make no sense man. MS couldn't keep up with Sonys out put on 1st party so they purchased devs and to make more $ they're putting games where gamers are... why would they make a crappy port on purpose, just to waste $ and not make it back?

Reaper22_113d ago

Not yet. They still make and sell consoles. If you didn't know 3rd party is the backbone of the industry. Take away those and the industry will suffer. If you look at the industry as a whole the Xbox strategy is a smart one. By 2030 it's estimated that there will be about 4 billion gamers worldwide. If you want a bigger piece of the pie you can't do it by catering to one audience. There will never be 4 billion xbox's or playstations. Not even close. Microsoft's plan seems to be to try and service as many gamers across the board. It's not a bad strategy imo. Given their infrastructure they have the means to do it. Some may see this move as being defeated by sony which in some ways it is. It was always gonna be a uphill battle for them when it came to hardware. I think they've known this from the beginning.
But now the industry has changed. They are finding success in other ways. They aren't just looking at xbox the console anymore. They are taking the vast range of resource they have and using them to strengthen their gaming business. Sony is slowly doing the same by bringing some of their biggest games to PC which is a smart thing to do. I think it would benefit them to bring more games to xbox as well. That would be a win for them because they keep their install base, sell more games and make more money which is the bottom line for all business.

trez1082112d ago

Sony isn’t doing the same. Pc isn’t a console unless Xbox is pc now. Why would you develop for a console that’s not selling and has a small user base? Third parties already have deals in place to release on all consoles but I don’t think a lot will prioritise Xbox just for the fact that it doesn’t sell as much. Instead of this spin you should encourage Xbox to do something that will make people buy their console. Oh and Xbox finding success elsewhere like you’re saying doesn’t n shouldn’t mean anything to us console gamers same as Sony’ s money don’t mean a thing. We’ll buy the console with more interesting games period. Spin spin spin while reality is in front of you.

Gamingsince1981112d ago (Edited 112d ago )

The industry hasn't changed , xbox has failed and died, so MS is forced to be third party, it wasn't a choice. No one is going to follow MS, no one else needs to because no one else has failed.

raWfodog112d ago

"I think it would benefit them to bring more games to xbox as well. That would be a win for them because they keep their install base, sell more games and make more money which is the bottom line for all business."

Nah, the fundamental difference that many are conveniently ignoring is that Sony is a hardware/electronics manufacturer, unlike MS. Sony is fully invested in pushing hardware and you need exclusive games for your console in order to entice people into buying your console over the competitions. It would not be business smart to place your games on rival consoles, especially ones not moving the same numbers as you.

@obscured: “ Just like Sony

A third party publisher with a console platform“

Took you long enough to make a new account 🤦🏿you know it’s been reported as spam as I write this.
Well we all knew it was just a matter of time before this happened, it’s not a brain surgery Microsoft wants money 💰 moneeeeey they have to promote their COMPETITORS CONSOLE on their games going to be released there 🤣.
I can’t wait for forza horizon GoW and HALO on PlayStation hopefully with that all the toxicity from a small minority of Xbox fans will DIE.

"I can’t wait for forza horizon GoW and HALO on PlayStation hopefully with that all the toxicity from a small minority of Xbox fans will DIE."

Same here. But not all three at once. PSN may not be able to handle too much at one time. 🤭 Jusk kidding. Those 3 would be a welcome addition to a lot of gamers. All 3 are really good.

Scissorman113d ago

as every third-party publisher should.
