Why did you get disagrees? Lol

Something weird in your link?

Anyway, Im really finding the portal a useful device. Im able to play more and on the go.

They are all from the Alt-Man. The sad man who makes all the alt accounts. He makes one, gets banned in record time, makes another and so on and so forth. They are all from him

Great console, positively surprised by how slick and well build it is. I wish they made a cellular model like vita

Quite pleased that I upgraded from Extra. It was on offer, and I think I've had my money's worth so far, even without owning a portal.
Have Mr Driller installed when I have enough energy for a frantic puzzler.
Ape Escape when I have enough energy to get my head around the controls.
Streamed the entire campaign of Resistance 3.
Played some Syphon Filter for the first time but it didn't hold my attention.
Maybe some other stuff that I can't remember right now.
Might start saving some pennies for a Portal.

Just as the article points out

Neonridr114d ago

the title doesn't mention it though, so I felt it was worth noting. Lots of people comment without actually reading an article and base everything on the title of an article.

Not subbed but trying to calculate energy savings from not needing to turn my PS5 on now while I play pushes me to upgrade…maybe?

your console isn't a mini nuclear reactor. It's not doing anything crazy to your electricity bill each month.

Sadly i have not been able to get any of the PS2 games working on the Portal. the touch pad that acts as start and select is unresponsive. I keep hoping they will make PS3 games compatible with the portal.

Littlebigmatador116d ago

I thought the same thing. All you have to do is touch the bottom right portion of the screen multiples times until it react. It doesn't work if you tap it just one time

darthv72115d ago

Seems a tad cumbersome. I got it to work after about the 4th try.

MrNinosan116d ago

It's just a double tap, just like the tutorial of the Portal tells you.
Press 1 time quick and 2nd time hold, that's when it activates as the DualSense touchpad.

Ps5conehead116d ago

Thanks for info I was beginning to think it was inoperable

darthv72115d ago

I got it to work after the 4th try of double tapping and holding. Me thinks they need to improve the sensitivity of this given how many games they have (and will add) to the service.

Not sure it's 'as bad' as CP2077 as far as crashing and whatnot. It's just not as good of a game, so that makes the issues stand out more.

There's full walkthrough out there if you want to see the game for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
