I remember playing a closed beta of battlefield 5 and seeing a heli being shot down and it was seamless. Then on release the server tick rate was reduced and it cause vehicles to disappear momentarily when destroyed. I expect the same downgrade here.

EA's reputation as an extremely greedy company does not fade away that easily.
It would not surprise me that the release will somewhat look like this but then they implement all kinds of clownesque 'skins' for weapons and characters again.
Greed under the guise of 'player freedom' and 'be who you want to be'
Maybe I'm too pessimistic but after what EA has pulled with long standing franchises I have become very sceptic about anything of this company.
We'll wait and see I guess.
