We want to make Dragon Age a billion dollar franchise so let's hire the same writers responsible for mother fkn watch dogs legion 🤮

babadivad96d ago

Also hire an ideolog whose never worked on an RPG as the director.

goken96d ago

Well they were targeting the modern audiences demographic… remember these people are paid millions in salary to come up with these decisions

"Make Dragon Age great again."
~Make Larian develop next Dragon Age for it to be great again.~

tinchotin96d ago

Why waste them on that? Their games are much better than all Dragon Age games

RaidenBlack96d ago

Baldur's Gate is a Bioware developed Obsidian (previously-BlackIsle) published IP.
Dragon Age is a Bioware developed EA published IP.
(And I am talking total hands-off approach from EA. Just pure publishing.)
Trust me, this is the best combo in the world of gaming-RPG but has the slightest of slightest chance to actually happen.

Toecutter0096d ago

Name me a publisher whose intention is not to make a billion dollars from their IP. The intention should be to make a good game and then find ways to milk it out of legitimacy.

Night dive and lrg is more hey let's keep the lights on and play some classics.

UE5 based this time

robtion9h ago

That said, I think Stellar Blade looks better than most current UE5 games.

Relientk7710h ago

If Stellar Blade is anything to go by, yeah I am hyped to see this new game.

robtion9h ago

I just saw the Stellar Blade director just finished Clair Obscur (96hrs playtime). He clearly has good taste. Gives me some confidence concerning their new game.

jznrpg10h ago

I hope it’s single player.

robtion9h ago

Let's hope so. If not I have no interest in it.

robtion9h ago

Very interested to see what they follow Stellar Blade up with. Easily my GOTY 2024.

Levii_928h ago

I have 120 hours in this game..

Astro Bot was mine easily but Stellar Blade is right behind it and then Silent Hill 2.

robtion8h ago

Yeah I have around 260 hours. I also loved the Silent Hill 2 remake and Space Marine 2.

Glad they didn't change the art style. This is looking good.. Why did they change the way the characters look anyway? The very first style was kind of ok, it was fine by Risky's Revenge and Pirate's Curse.. both in game sprite and the dialogue popups, why keep changing it? I am not as fussed on her newer look. She's looking kinda too dark or sunburnt now.
