The next Battlefield game from EA is scheduled to be released before April 2026…
Windows Central: “Embark Studios' ARC Raiders is the extraction shooter I've been waiting for. Here's why it's better than Bungie's upcoming Marathon.”
This is silly. I think both games are amazing. Both games can be very successful at the same time and I hope they are.
So we can we can see into the future now? I’m sure ARC is fine, me personally? Far more interested in Marathon. Between known Bungie’s solid gameplay and world building to the aesthetics and concept, I’m all in on Marathon.
I played the Technical Test 2 earlier today and had a blast. I got thrown in an instance, saw a guy walking up some stairs, started shooting at him and watched him run for his life. It was funny until I got killed by some random drones. They're both different games and will have their space. Only the gameplay loop will tell.
Why do gamers/gamejournalist do this? We need to stop with all this doom article game shit.
Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella shared a bullish report on the performance of the Xbox gaming business also on PlayStation.
I'm kind of hoping they drop most hardware support here with a 'good enough console' next generation and focus more on being a publisher. Obviously that is doing well for them and they can still push cloud gaming since it's going to tons of smart TVS and devices. They're now the largest video game publisher in the world, if they aren't doing the most sales and pre-orders, then they would be in trouble. They aren't.
“We continue to transform the business and focus on margin expansion as we bring our games to over 500 million monthly active users across devices. We ended the quarter as the top publisher by pre-orders and pre-installs on both Xbox and PlayStation Store.”
Amazing news!
Xbox reigning within rival territory.
Big slap in the face of haters who used to crap on Xbox´s games and its quality.
We brought two of the biggest publishers in the world, cost thousands of people their livelihoods and consolidated a huge part of the industry, look how successful we are at gaming!
In a Game Rant interview, PM Studios CEO Michael Yum talks about his long career, his involvement in LvL Up Expo, and more.
I think better option is not to release
Well obviously, they already know a rough release date, regardless of the state of the game, it's going to get released, on that date, any long term BF fan knows the pain of this truth.
I'm assuming Labs will be an over glorified early access cause why announce it still a year off? Bro… how easily people have forgotten that only DICE worked on BF with absolutely no problem on all the previous games. They had no problem making 1942, both Bad Company games with a SP portion, BF 2142, BF 1943, Mirrors Edge in-between. DICE died a long time ago, I don't wanna be negative but it's tiring seeing the souls leaving all these studios but seeing them still shite out game after game log a cog in the machine.
Please Release this game when it is ready and not need 6 months of patching after release just to make it playable. Now a days when a game is released stable at launch it gets praised because so many games launch needing months of hot fixes and patching
Perfect. Wasn't expecting this game this year no matter what. This looks to go back to the roots. No slide cancel and no Jumping around like a Bunny. And normal looking uniforms. The vibes feels good. Hope it works out. We really miss a solid Fps military shooter.
