While Tokyo has been mainly referenced as a major city in Cyberpunk 2077, the franchise should finally visit the corpo city with a sequel.
"Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition is a remarkable launch-day port for Nintendo's new console. Its deep, diverse, and tangible world is fully realised with impressive performance for such a low-powered device. If you've not taken your first steps into Night City already, or you're a long-time player with a portable-play itch that needs scratching, you're in for a serious treat, choom." - Alex Olney | NintendoLife
I'm glad I hadn't played it yet. Glad to hear Switch 2 is getting some decent ports. As a handheld game, this sounds amazing. Now, I'm not sure if I'm going to wait for the first sale, or go ahead and dive in. My Switch 2 just arrived an hour ago and I'm going through the System transfer ATM.
Cyberpunk 2077 sees impressive results on Nintendo Switch 2, delivering image quality on par with Xbox Series S and PS4 Pro.
Lets you know we basically have a portable ps4.5
Dlss will definitely help too. Quite excited how Nintendo's future 1st party will look and perform especially zelda and xenoblade. And we can finally say goodbye to a lot of games built for 720p finally as Nintendo is always the one behind in hardware power for the whole games industry.
I mean, the thing holding back the Pro is the CPU, not the GPU. It outperforming a 2013 CPU should be the least expectation, IMHO.
So it’s on par with the Xbox S….but according to some on here the series S holds back gaming. So what the narrative going to be on the Switch 2? Cricket, Cricket, Cricket………..hmmmmm that’s what I thought
IGN : Cyberpunk 2077 is a launch game for Switch 2 - here's how developer CD Projekt Red got the ambitious open world running on Nintendo's new hardware.
Nah keep it original.
We don't need to keep referencing an existing place on earth like every Ubi game
I want a cyberpunk in space city.
In my opinion, that is thinking small. They should move to space in the future sequels.
Surely in the Cyberpunk universe, humans have already populated the moon, mars, Titan and Europa. There may be small bases on uninhabitable bodies in space where mining is done. They could even have dog fights with interceptors and space pirates.
Tokyo sounds good to me.
Everything can't be set in Japan, weebs.
