Better than some official videos. Anyone knows who was the character that win this tournament?

Was Iyo, a Dhalsim player. He beat RF, a Sagat player. Eurogamer videos always give me trouble so I'm not sure what's shown there... but here's the grand finals match.

What's also interesting to note is that the first national tournament was won by another Dhalsim player. I don't recall the players names... but it came down to Ken vs. Dhalsim.

Also looking at the top 8 it's very interesting. No Ryu's (Daigo didn't even make top 8 and he's the Battle Points leader) or Zangief's but there was a C. Viper and El Fuerte (Correction, Fuerte was top 10, I believe). This really goes against what the tier list would tell you, but I think it's a testament to how balanced the game really is. It's not like 3rd Strike (at least not yet) where the tournaments are dominated by Chun Li, Yun and Ken. Iyo is really something else though. I do believe Dhalsim is a very strong character in the right hands... but Iyo's execution is just magnificent and just before this tournament he had come flying up the Battle Points chart in Japan. At any rate, it's nice to see that Sagat's are not dominating tournaments like many thought he would. Joe, the C. Viper player even beat Ojisan Boy, the #1 (#2 player overall in BP rankings) rated Sagat in Japan.

There was also a 5on5 tournament in which Kindevu (Rufus) beat Iyo (Dhalsim) in the finals. The winning team was Nemo (Chun), Mago (Sagat), Kindevu (Rufus), Momochi (Akuma), Joe (C. Viper).
