Though Kivi's Underworld may not be able to live up to the expectations of some gamers or keep up with some of the newer high-end titles on the shelves, it proves that you don't need to smoke a video card just to play a good and genuinely entertaining game. It should also run well on a Mac and in Linux systems, although you are advised to try out the demo first just to make sure before you purchase the game.
Never the less, Kivi's Underworld is an enjoyable title that features a vast array of different levels and characters that will keep you coming back for more each time.
Soldak Entertainment has released a new patch for Kivi's Underworld, the company's casual action RPG title. The 1.002 patch introduces a variety of bug fixes and changes to the game. In Kivi's Underworld players adventure as one of 20 character classes against a variety of dangerous foes.
Bytten writes: "The Lumen have grown soft. Seldom leaving the safety of their city, ancient tales of combat and monsters are now dismissed as legends. When Kivi and a group of Lumen on a mining expedition are ambushed by Dark Elves, leaving Kivi the only survivor, the other Lumen don't believe him. Kivi sets out to prove the threat is real, aided by a steadily growing band of friends."
