@blackblades
Ha ha ... wasn't expecting a freaking Ninja Gaiden shadow drop and NG4 for late 2025.

What do you mean by “this will do”? The last iteration of those games were mediocre at best.

Sonyslave3109d ago

What dmc 5 was a master piece and Ninja gaiden had one dud, but can easily bounce back.

Just in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black remake is here + Gaiden 4 look bettet then this already 🤣🤣

Ignore Ninja Gaiden Z and DmC

I read Phantom Blade Zero. I click. I smile. I can’t wait. Every time!

Looks generic and bland. It's not even close to phantom blade.

Slipped off my radar, might get it too though.

The demo was alright. Kinda basic souls gameplay. Loved the look and the venom/darkness type voice that speaks to you in your head though.

I'm glad you have the ability to parry, counter, block, and dodge.

outsider1624110d ago (Edited 110d ago )

All that and a difficulty level. Thank God for noobs like us.

Don't forget that you can also strike.

Phantom Blade Zero aims to beat Black Myth: Wukong and revive the golden age of kung fu cinema - EG

When Chinese action game Phantom Blade Zero was first revealed to the world, it drew countless comparisons to FromSoftware's Souls games, to the point its director (the appropriately-nicknamed "Soulframe" Liang) had to repeatedly downplay the influence. More recently, as more of Phantom Blade Zero has been shown, it's been compared favourably to the Ninja Gaiden series for its combo-led combat. So where exactly does it sit on this spectrum?

Black Myth WuKong was great. Even if they don’t surpass it and just come close to as good that is a win in my eyes as that’s how good Black Myth was to me

Miacosa48d ago

Phantom Blade Zero made the bold decision to include difficult settings so this instantly opens up the game to more people and increased potential of success. Given that Black Myth WuKong was a low 80s rated game this leaves a lot of room for a higher score.
