This game is going to BOMB! I love the ac franchise and I love black flag, but no one wants this.

FinalFantasyFanatic109d ago (Edited 109d ago )

I love Black Flag, it's my favourite AC game and the only one I actually finished, having said that, they're up for some tough competition at the moment. We've got Y's Nordics (and the improved version coming out soon), and we've got Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii coming out soon, I also don't trust current Ubisoft to not screw it up either. There's room for another pirate game, but Nordics is so enjoyable, and I'm sure Pirate Yakuza will be just as good or better.

Furesis109d ago

I did enjoy 4 but they just going to skip the ezio trilogy? the games that made the franchise. Like i could not tell you what the story in 4 was, the world and the ship caried 4. Also its current ubisoft so i have no trust in them.

neutralgamer1992109d ago

They are doing this to cash in as quickly as possible. Have a great selling game. You are right they should remake the 1st game than the Ezio trilogy into 1 game and trim the unwanted content

FinalFantasyFanatic109d ago

They need money, Ubisoft isn't doing so great, Black Flag is one of the more popular AC games, plus, I suspect they've had this one in development for a long time based on the rurmors.

Profchaos109d ago (Edited 109d ago )

Any excitement for this one just went out the window as Sega and rgg has seemingly just made the pirate game I always wanted

Fonsecap108d ago

They want feedback? Leave it alone, its awesome as it is, it doesn't need a remake, specially if they change the combat for the newest games formula, and also implement RPG mechanics, such as level ups and whatnot.

Lexreborn2108d ago

I started playing the new PoP game and it’s an amazing game. It’s so weird to me because I really don’t like any of the assassin creeds but they frequently have a random game that just hits all the marks for me

well, the switch 2 has two holidays in the us, thanksgiving and Christmas.

so id say its fairly possible. the rest of the world will also grab them

Abriael20h ago

Yeah doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility as long as they have enough supply.

Si-Fly10h ago

Do people buy each other games consoles for Thanksgiving? I’m in Europe and always assumed it was just Christmas where gifts were exchanged.

Skate-AK10h ago

I don't think it's so much Thanksgiving, but that Black Friday is the day after.

darthv7210h ago(Edited 10h ago)

That time is often referred to as the start of the Xmas shopping season. For the last few years, retailers would do 'black Friday' deals at various times throughout the year. While many still prefer to start their shopping in the mid to late November, others will just buy when they feel the time (and prices) are right for them.

Switch and Switch are a different kettle of fish. A sell out at launch by the diehards, strong sales, then the non diehards will be put off by the £75 ($99) games, including the stupid download cards which are topping £65 ($85). Not rocket science to work out how the Switch 2 is going to pan out. The PS5 has sold well, but games at £70, sales have been low. As game sales drop, prices will rise. Sony could knock out all their games for £40 and still make a killing selling more games. There's no denying that a gaming crash is looming.

Rancegamerx6h ago

I agree, I don't see the Switch 2 selling anywhere near the numbers that these predictions suggest or what the general buzz is implying. While the initial sales will likely be strong, driven by diehard fans, I anticipate a gradual decline. It may not drop off immediately, but over time, sales will inevitably taper.

Not paying for something that's not worth more than the price it was advertised, which is $449 - $499.
