Sony Interactive Entertainment's cancellation of Bend Studio's live service game has reignited calls for a sequel to Days Gone.
Swedish Arrowhead is behind the successful game Helldivers and made a profit of 729 million kronor last year after its latest launch. In addition, Chinese Tencent has bought just over 15 percent of the shares at a valuation of just over 5 billion.

They deserve it, Days Gone didn't set the world on fire but it was a solid first outing for Bend on the PS4 and I'd like to see an improved more refined sequel especially after that cliffhanger ending.
Journalists were super harsh with this one considering how much s*** they let slide with other games, they never really liked this the moment it was revealed, it always felt it couldn't do anything to sway their opinion so when they played that review version without the Day One patch they just gave them a bigger, more justified reason to slaughter it.
It was rough and certainly flawed. But man it was such a good foundation for a sequel. huge potential!
Reminder that Sony Bend also pitched a Syphon Filter and Resistance reboot. Sony, in response, rejected them in favor of making them work on a live service game.
