GameSpy writes: "It's a real rogue's gallery. A collection of game titles so insidiously cool, so despicably awesome, that we have no choice but to pursue and apprehend. These games are monsters, remorseless in their pursuit of fun, and 2009 is the year we hope to bring them to justice. The only thing they have in common? They all remain at large.
Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360, PS3)
With Resident Evil 4 resting as one of the best games of the last generation, hopes are high for its sequel. And frankly, it doesn't look like we're going to be disappointed -- we've played Resident Evil 5 quite a bit already, and the demos have left a strong impression. But what has us most excited is the prospect of playing the game from start to finish with a friend. 2008 was a marquee year for cooperative gaming, and Valve's Left 4 Dead set a high benchmark. But for all that game's strengths, it doesn't provide a contiguous experience; it's cut up into bite-size missions."
