"There have been plenty of movie-to-game adaptations over the years—even game-to-movie. However, book-to-game seems to be a genre rarely experienced. Well developers Floor 84, publishers Mindscape and bestselling author Dav Pilkey have teamed up. They have become the Supa Buddies, well not quite but we’ll get onto them soon!" Stu @ Thumb Culture
Review - For the fans of the books, Dog Man: Mission Impawsible is an easy sell. But for everyone else, there are better platformers.
Games Asylum: "Beating the odds, we’ve somehow gained a Dog Man game before a gaming adaptation based on fellow children’s book stalwarts Captain Underpants and Diary of a Wimpy Kid – both of which have gained silver-screen counterparts. The fact that a Dog Man film from DreamWorks is just around the corner likely had something to do with this. That, and the fact that nobody wants to play a game based on a wimpy kid. The Super Nintendo’s often forgotten Lester the Unlikely taught us all a very valuable lesson back in 1994."
