I can't wait to play Indiana Jones again with DLSS 4

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH158d ago

I cannot wait to get my hands on my 5090! I only want that card nothing else. I have a 4070 now and it’s been amazing but it’s time for a major upgrade.

XBManiac158d ago

Well... if you expend +2000$ in a new graphics card... why would you want tricks like DLSS4? The trick is that you need to pay for a new card, so you can play with DLSS4... Why not with my old one? AMD seems to be more customer friendly, one more year.

DLSS4 is coming to all 4, 3 and 2 series cards as well. The only thing not coming is multi-frame generation which is exclusive to 5 series cards and single-frame generation is exclusive to 4 and 5 series cards. All other features will trickle down to other cards.

you were saying?

Plus, AMD is the one actually restricting FSR4 to the new cards this time around haha (with reason though)

Neither Nvidia or AMD are consumer friendly, they are both profit oriented businesses

It exists as a crutch of the growing cases of bad optimizations by devs and for the lack of innovation in the GPU power technology. They don’t know how to make cards more powerful without it directly translating to more expensive and power hungry cards so they have to rely on software tricks that introduce smearing and input lag. Regular DLSS is fine, frame gen is where i draw the line.

Has there been any info about when these DLSS4 patches will drop? Really looking forward to giving it a try Indiana jones, Alan wake 2 and cyberpunk.

Hard ass Edge thinks Nightrein is a 9/10? REALLY?

I've seen them call better games for less.

P_Bomb3d ago

9/10 surprises me, ngl. So much depends on the quality of your team.

Doom the dark ages was a letdown compared to Doom eternal

gold_drake1d 21h ago

lol neightrein 9/10

edge is one of the harshest critics among reviewers, they've given better games a lesser score ha.

The story in Doom is completely unnecessary however the action is the best of the series. I’d have given it a solid 8.
