VGChartz's Chinh Tran: "As these games wrestled, jostled, and brawled to stand out in an increasingly crowded space, gamers had no shortage of options when it came to fighters. Bandai Namco took the Budokai Tenkaichi series to new heights with the release of Dragon Ball: Sparkling! Zero. The same company also unleashed Tekken 8, continuing the series' intense combat mechanics for gamers to master. Arc System Works gave us one final installment of the Under Night In-Birth series, in the form of [Sys: Celes]. And finally 2K Games gave wrestling fans WWE 2K24, which further refined the long-running series' mechanics."
Season 2 for Tekken 8 launched with drastic system-wide changes, including increased combo damage, and powerful plus-frame homing moves.
Tekken 8 Season 2 updates spark controversy with balance changes and glitches, forcing Bandai Namco to address fan concerns and restore harmony to the game.
Thanks to the PS5 console bundle, Sony's adorable platformer Astro Bot remains very high in the UK's physical games chart. It's in second place, and has been in the top three for many weeks in a row.
Tekken 8 has returned to the top 10, coming back from the dead straight to number three.
Interesting. Wonder if the narrative that this game is selling poorly is still floating around.
Playing Astro Bot right now and having a blast. Though I really hate the tiny shape levels
I finished Astrobot 3 times hahaha...it's just THAT good! I finally caved and bought the PSVR (used and comes with 2 MOVE controllers and physical copy of Ark Park for $125) to play Rescue Mission and MY GOD it's an even better game! totally worth it!
