Sony has now opened up pre-orders for the Death Stranding 2 limited edition PS5 controller it has to offer alongside the game. The special pad launches on the same day as the game, 26th June 2025, and costs £74.99.
i scored one... and as a bonus, XB made a Witcher 3 special edition controller for pre-order the same day... so yeah, i got that too.
im pretty hyped for the game but that controller scheme is a bit underwhelming. kudos to you tho for snagging one.
I need to stop with the limited edition dualsenses. Between a 30th anniversary, Astrobot, Helldivers 2 and TLOU.. ANOTHER one is the last thing I need. :P
I got TLOU and God of War one too. So definitely don't need more..... but I want this. Lol

Why are they so lazy and keep using the black dualsense to make these "Limited" editions? They should of used like a Amber transparent shell similar to the Dualshock 4 one.
I quite like the Astrobot one, but this one doesn't grab me. It just looks like a black pad with a few stickers on it.

Kojima is as dumb as a stack of bricks. 🤷 His lust over gamers hating his games is just silly. He's a lousy story teller and he should stick to making games built around compelling gameplay.... The moment a cutscene starts my eyes auto roll.

I’m replaying the first game it’s great. It’s not for everyone no doubt. There are still a lot of people playing it.
I'm playing through it for my first time, enjoying parts of it, and other parts not so much. It's definitely a Kojima ass game in all the good and bad ways. Honestly the combat/stealth sucks ass in it tho, which is really the worst part for me, which is a bit inconceivable given MGS V.
Exactly. The combat and stealth suck and are just shoehorned in to deliver a layer of challenge.
Hold your breath when going through the same BT areas EVERY time.
Nonsense about weather forecasts when it ALWAYS rains in certain areas no matter what.
Tedious Cliff fights.
Dumb BT fights that you can 100% walk (wade) away from without the enemies attacking you.
Broken lore about dead bodies.
The list is long.
Having said that, I've platinumed both versions from scratch.
Then why do a sequel straight away?
Why not something else like maybe a horror game similar to Silent Hills but rebranded into a new IP.

To be honest, he is in a great situation if he doesn't have to make a mass market product. Means he can make what he wants. I think that's great.

I was so happy (and surprised) Death Stranding has the option to play the game with the Japanese voices. Really hope DS2 includes the option as well.
