If Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Is 'Dying', Why Are We Still Playing The Game?

The every year debate of Call of Duty is dying is once again ignited by users on social media for Black Ops 6, and I don't buy it.

I'm hoping Battlefield makes a comeback.

Delta Force is a fantastic 2042 like game but I want a return to form Battlefield that puts destruction and chaos along with atmosphere and fun immersion back into its identity but without the specialists. Just bring back classes.

It's only the best COD in years for the gamepass players who haven't played COD in years. If you have, you'd realise how busted this game is in comparison to other recent entries. The player drop off that's currently happening even after Christmas is wild.

to be very honest, i havent played this COD since my mates arent playing it.
we play more Helldivers more than anything.

but i doubt CoD is dying. like .. no.
we might not like it, but millions of others still do and still play it daily.

Agreed. But i guess “dying” could mean a very slow death. Its natural that over time people simply move on, I personally havent touched a CoD in years. Just not my cup of tea.

Cod isnt dying, i just think it isnt growing anymore. To some extent brand fatigue. But also there are plenty of other options that are f2p and easier for new players to just pick up and play. But cod will be around for along time.

I haven't played a COD campaign since MW3. This type of game multiplayer wise is not for me. When I was younger I did like to play competitive games online but now I prefer PvE games like Warframe and Helldivers 2. For me it is more relaxing to play with other people instead of against them.

I’m not lol. Stalker 2, Delta Force, CS2 & now Tarkov wipe have been great distractions. Even tried out star citizen with its new update and even that games been a better experience than CoD multiplayer and that games a buggy mess on a good day

I play and i ask myself why all the time the damn game takes almost 400gb which is insane but the single player is awesome
