…Slaughter them ISA scum..

20 bucks for the armor and an extra 10 for the gun and other items.
Not the worst MTX out there, but pretty expensive nonetheless.

pwnmaster3000191d ago (Edited 191d ago )

I almost typed hell yeah.
$20 is crazy.

porkChop190d ago

By far the most expensive in the game, and the armor has a pretty OP passive. Not a good look for Arrowhead/PS.

MIDGETonSTILTS17190d ago (Edited 190d ago )

Well, they did just release a new race, a new biome, and the first vehicle for free, so that’s worth considering.

And the passive isn’t OP, it’s just lore-appropriate for Helghasts.

And, they just gave away for free the second wave of cosmetics originally planned for next week, so how bad is it really?

porkChop189d ago

Free content doesn't change the fact that the Killzone content is way overpriced compared to everything else they've released. Free content doesn't mean you should just accept whatever else comes your way.

The CEO previously said that the warbonds were funding all the free content. Now after hiking up the price of the Killzone stuff he's giving the same reasoning. If the previous warbonds were funding everything there's no reason to jack up the price other than greed.

MIDGETonSTILTS17176d ago (Edited 176d ago )

If it’s overpriced, then you don’t need to buy it. Let’s not active like a semi-unique passive buff is some immoral gate keeping of content. The buff just isn’t THAT impactful. And I’d still rather pay $20 for a cosmetic than split the community with paid gameplay content.

Also, I didn’t realize you had visibility of their finances, and thus can accuse them of greed.

Make the remake from the ground up happen Sony.

The problem is nobody appreciated it until it was gone

Especially when KZ2 came out. I remember how so many were complaining with "it's so slow" "the guns feel so heavy", "it needs to be more like Call of Duty". etc

Then when KZ 3 came out and they made it like COD, the new complaint was "I liked how KZ2 was, change it back".

When Shadowfall came out they tried to revamp the game entirely.

Killzone is a clear example of why sometimes, listening to the audience isn't a good idea. They got what they wanted and still whined.

SonyStyled189d ago

A bulk of whiners from KZ2 never returned to play KZ3, and those who did disliked that it wasn’t like KZ2. Basically those who ruined ruined KZ3 never played it despite fulfilling what they requested

KZ2 is honestly one of my all time favorite games. That game was just perfection. They really peaked with it.

I agree KZ3 was too CODified. Not a bad game, but definitely a downgrade from 2.
Shadowfall... was a big oof. I actually hated that game at first and dropped it after a few hours. Came back to it after a long break and actually managed to have some fun with it. Still the worst one of the bunch imo.

Doubt we'll ever get anything like KZ2 again. It was one of a kind.

On a sidenote the first one is underrated imo. The portable ones were pretty good too.
