There are quite a few baffling Nintendo decisions throughout its history. Here are the ten that standout to us the most.
Sector sat down with Glen Schofield—creator of Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol—during the Game Developers Session (GDS) in Prague to discuss the evolution of the game industry, the current challenges of AAA development, and why it's become so hard to get original ideas off the ground in today’s risk-averse environment.
It’s easy enough to say that, but why? It feels weird to me when developers say this but common sense would tell you everything about the idea itself should work.
The idea of the concept seems like a winner at whichever angle you look at it so why would publishers not greenlight it?

This new tech, in 2025, is more comparable to 2020 tech than 2013 tech.
*tip toes over that bar*
Also, why are all the comparisons to PS4 and not Xbox One?

How about the Happy Meal looking Wii, or to add a friend online you need to use a code, how about not being able to message a friend online. Or making an N64 mini, I would buy an N64 mini day one. Or my favorite why release the hounds to take down pictures of a Mario 64 strategy guide that never came to NA?I was wondering if the Virtual Boy would make the list I still have mine but it needs to be repaired sine one of the eye screens is fubared.
the biggest thing for me was the fear mognering whent hey released the 3D Mario collection for the switch, immediately saying that physical are only limited in stock
1995-96..sticking to cartridges instead of using cds. Not working with Sony. That was their big downfall.
Also..releasing the Nintendo 64 instead of the previously marketed Ultra 64 ..and the N64 a totally downgraded version of the U64.
