NVIDIA has "teased" its next-gen GeForce RTX 50 series gaming GPUs in a promotional video that celebrates 25 years of "NVIDIA GeForce."
Sony CEO Hiroki Totoki and CFO Lin Tao talked about the state of the PlayStation business and the strategy and targets going forward, including how they're responding to the tariffs.
Sony announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2024, and things are certainly looking up, despite a decline in PS5 sales.
If their profits fall next quarter, we'll probably see more price hikes. I can't imagine having to pay £20 a month for PlayStation Plus.
Decline in hardware sales.
Behind on lifetime sales and decline in first party sales.
Third party content and PSN came through to save the day.
Things will improve starting with the next Ghost game.
Hopefully a steady flow of first party content by end of '25
PlayStation 5 has shipped 77.8 million units worldwide, Sony announced in its financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2025.
very nice.
in almost 5 years too.
some big hitters are yet to come
The second it's available I'm getting a new build, been waiting to see if the pricing and if the 5080 16gb of ram is good enough, will I need the 5090?
... Also my friends kid is dying to get my old PC, a I9 RTX3080 with 32gb of ram isn't a bad free gift, he'll be happy with that for a while.
The 5070 will have 12GB VRAM, Nvidia fucked us over again. The 5070 Ti will have 16GB and will most likely cost between $700-$800 US. 😡
We will see if the rumors are true that the prices will go up and this generational performance uplift will be small than Lovelace generation in traditional performance.
Yeah, 5090 build sounds good.
Open those wallets ladies and gents.
