FromSoftware just announced its next Elden Ring game and no, it's not a sequel, rather a unique take on the iconic souls title.
It must be Christmas in May because The Epic Games Store is in a giving mood.
Today, Portal with RTX is being upgraded with DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, multiplying framerates, as well as the transformer model for Ray Reconstruction and DLAA, enabling even better image quality. Portal with RTX is also adding RTX Neural Radiance Cache (NRC), a neural shader that improves indirect lighting, as well as a bevy of performance optimizations.
Sony's latest PSN sale is headlined by Helldivers 2, which is at its lowest-ever price on the digital store.
Not sure what to make of this. I take it won't have the same type of gameplay as elden ring and soulsborn games?
it's not a sequel though, looks like a mishmash co-op Hero multiplayer in the Elden ring universe, i see elements of sekiro, dark souls and bloodborne in there, pass for me
The write-ups say it's a co-op survival game. You get dropped in a procedural generated area and get stronger to prepare for boss arrivals at night. Every third night is a major boss. Sounds interesting, but if it's forced co-op it may not appeal to as many fans.
I always love FS games but the worst part was always co-oping with friends specifically in Elden Ring( DS3 had the best MP) so I'll be happy if doing MP is more integrated then what they've done b4 and without dealing with handicaps and invaders. I still hope there is pvp though but just it's own part of the game and not forced
