According to Sony, there's no risk of PlayStation players making the move from the console to PC - something the company stands by despite the PlayStation 5's recently adjusted price in Japan and the controversy surrounding how expensive the newer PS5 Pro is.

THIS IS HUGE. Do you know how long i've been waiting for an XBox style controller with rear paddles, a touch pad and gyro? This is enormous. I spent 400 dollars on a custom PS5 controller with rear paddles just so I could have that - but it broke and i've been devastated ever since. Even that controller didn't let me use keyboard macros as buttons (specifically the rear paddles) because it didnt have XBox Elite support in Steam (obviously). This is the greatest controller feature list of any controller on the market. Finally. Finally! Ordering one soon.

interesting thing is, that the switch 2 is still the inferior version, despite it being more powerful.
If every sony title releases on pc day and day with playstation. I'll happily sell up and stick to PC only. I would save money on a subscription then.
I only see a Steam machine somewhat console priced as anything that would endanger Sonys dominance at this point.
It's all basically up to your personal gaming preference. If PC gaming is your preference, then you're typically more willing to spend more for a quality rig. I wouldn't think it had anything to do with the high price for a PS5 Pro console. I would think it would have more to do with the vast number of PC titles available and higher fps/graphics.
I think alot of parents would be more likely to buy their kids a console over a gaming pc. Simply based off of price alone.
