Polyphony Digital’s free-to-play title, which is essentially a scaled-down version of Gran Turismo 7, will clock in at just 13.100GB on PS5, while the PS4 version will weigh in slightly less at 10.403GB. So, a small title, but expected considering it is’t a fully-fleshed out priced game.
When is a demo more than a demo? When Polyphony Digital is the developer…
My First Gran Turismo takes elements from Gran Turismo 7, makes things a lot easier, with the aim of getting more people racing.
Details on free-to-play Gran Turismo experience for players of all ages.
I might be on my own, but I think this is pretty clever and a good idea. I used to love the Gran Turismo games as a kid (still have GT2 from launch day) but I always felt it became more about competitive sim racing and needing a wheel / rig setup which is not an option for me so left the series behind.
The ability to maybe pick up a way into Gran Turismo again as a single player only, controller using player will be fun, and certainly doesn’t make me less likely to buy the full game if I get back into it.
It also has PSVR 2 support, which is great news. Can't wait to try it out in 2 days.
I don't get it, what's the point of that when you own GT7? The email I received from SIE had me believe it would be a throwback to the 1st GT games on the PS1, with circuits from those games, like Special Stage Route Clubman or Tokyo R246, I didn't know what to expect, these circuits added to GT7, or the first 2 games remastered maybe? But I didn't expect that thing.
Looks more like a playable ad for GT7 to me *shrugs*
Looks great for people new to the series or even people on the fence about picking GT7 up, should do this kind of thing with more games.
