As someone who has pumped over 1000 hours in OW over the years, I agree. Many elements of the game are definitely shameless copies of OW and that's not really a bad thing because those elements work. I think they've also branched out nicely putting their own flair into the character designs, nothing in OW feels anything like Cloak and Dagger which is the hero I've spent most of my time on so far.

Seems like there is a lot of envy and salt at Bizzard these days even if Ybarra is former President. Funny seeing as these comments are from people who had absolutely nothing to do with Blizzard's glory years and just riding on the backs of far more talented developers and honestly it shows in their work, they used to make genre defining games but when was the last time they even made a genuine GOTY contender?

I thought he was saying the move set was similar...but he's talking about the name!? Black Widow was created in the 60's and even Black Widows first appearance in the MCU was years before overwatch.

You’ve got to think aswell when Overwatch was first created the MCU was even on a massive high with Black Widow being part of the main avengers team.

To say that a lot of Marvel Rival's characters' abilities aren't copied from Overwatch is crazy. There is a lot of them that are pretty much identical. Yeah, Black Widow's abilities in the game are copied from Widowmaker's. It's super obvious but that doesn't mean it's a bad game, it's a great game.
