At the Siggraph 2024 Asia computer graphics and interactive tech expo in Tokyo, attendees can experience PSVR 2 without using any kind of controller, with a video of the demo (see below) showing a player shooting water jets from their fingers to take out flying monsters. And as long as your hands are in view of the headsets’ cameras it will be able to track them in virtual reality.
What new VR games are launching this June? Here's the full rundown of titles confirmed for Meta Quest, PSVR 2 and SteamVR.
Cave Crave is a new spelunking adventure coming to PSVR 2 and Meta Quest, with an optional gameplay mode that is proving to be terrifying.
Sounds like some testers are too chicken… hee hee. I so wanna see my wife play this 🤣
I don't know, I remember the whole "Resident Evil: Kitchen Demo" that was making people scream but it was just meh to me. The actual RE:7 in VR was a masterpiece though. I had bought PSVR pretty much for that game and it was totally worth it. I hope this game can bring me back that same kind of experience.
Orginally released for Meta Quest, colorful puzzle adventure Epyka is set to begin a new journey on PSVR 2 in June.
Woah. Ive only experienced this at a business that closed during covid called the VOID. Can't believe this can be done accurately on psvr2.
AGREED, Hand Tracking is pretty neat when it works well and feels more natural. Although remember Kinect?
Sony still putting R&D into the device. Now release a freaking game please.
Glad I purchased the psvr 2 and access to full ps5 games library, and now hand tracking, exciting times ahead
This update is promising. It means Sony hasn't completely abandoned the PSVR2. It would also be great if they can move some of those features to PCVR.
