What retro remake would YOU take up the reigns of?

Phreaky from PS3 Attitude writes: "It is no secret that I am a huge GoldenEye fan. I have harped on about it before, and will refrain from doing that again, but it is relevant to this article.

See, with the news that Free Radical are currently out of action, it got me thinking about the poll they had on their site asking what format the public would like to see a remake of Timesplitters on. And from there, I started thinking back to my favourite games of yesteryear.

Donkey Kong Country...i will eventually buy a wii and that will probably be the only game i will play

my would be Super Metroid with a lbp type engine(in 2d obviously) that would be sick.
Dk country too and some of the old x-men adventure games from Snes and Sega.

I'd love to remake quite a few NES games for HD.

I think Solstice was the first one that came to mind.

And it's probably been done, but a remake of Pitfall done in a similar style to Bionic Commando Rearmed

Plz no FF7 talk :-( A remake would suck and realistic character models would make the characters a lot less charming... I cant picture Cloud doing squats for his girl oufit with realistic visuals... You wanna see great character models just watch that crappy movie Advent Children...

Dino Crisis remake... I know that a Dino Crisis remake will have the potential to be super scary and I would love a remake for it on the PS3...

but i resisted and i stand by rc pro-am
