Sony's gearing up to release Gran Turismo 7's free version for all PS5 and PS4 players soon, if a rating board entry is anything to go by.
The usual update cycle has been broken, with a mid-month Gran Turismo 7 patch to include a Suzuki, a Honda, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Ferrari.
The first generation, Giorgetto Giugiaro and Aldo Mantovani designed, compact car was seen as the famed Italian designer was shown around Gran Turismo 7 developer Polyphony Digital.
Fanatec just released a steering wheel inspired by a concept car that should be familiar to fans of Gran Turismo 7, the Porsche Vision GT.
They told us about this a few weeks ago. My first GT or something like that.
It's part of the playstation 30th anniversary celebrations.
I’m skeptical, mostly because I expect it to simply have a bunch of micro-transactions in there to buy yourself towards the complete experience, except, of course, far more expensive than if you’d just buy the whole game as-is.
But, we’ll see. Perhaps it’s ‘just’ a glorified’ demo (which GT7 currently doesn’t have, outside demo-stations in stores), and maybe it will have free online MP for those who don’t have PS+, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Personally never picked up GT7. Played GT Sport last gen and didn’t care all that much for it, gameplay-wise, which felt too ‘sterile’ to me. GT7 is supposedly much better than Sport, but the game remaining around 70-80 euro meant I never bothered giving it a try.
It’s currently (finally) around 40 due to Black Friday, so I’m slightly tempted, but I think I’ll still skip it.
A PC release would be nice
This is a great if it happens
