Haven't been able to get RAGE 2 running on the Steam Deck and not for the lack of trying.

that is disappointing, I really wanted to try this. But then again some games that I can not run on Steam Deck, others run them flawlessly or at an acceptable performance.

It's a hit and miss thing you need to do some research and it depends on the mod itself if it's so heavy the Steam Deck cannot handle it.

Too many boomer shooters on the list. Dont get me wrong, I played Dusk (on switch though, run perfectly), Ion Fury and Prodeus, but I dont think that these are the best on Steam Deck.

I would add (out of those I have played at least)

Half Life Black Mesa (superb game worth your time)
Fear Games (not extraction though)
Singularity
Darkness within:dark lineage (aging graphics however with eerie atmosphere and great story)
Halo Infinite
Dying Light

I also found Necromunda to be interesting with great graphics and setting despite the low review scores but that's just me

I totally agree with you, i just thought that boomer shooters are more accessible on a portable platform you know their nature of easy pick up and play for short or long time periods. However, you're absolutely right i should reconsider and add more games to the list, thnx!
