Shaz from GL: "Black Myth: Wukong has been a massive success for Game Science. But they may only be the beginning for the Chinese game development sector."
"When I was asked by the Senior Editors here at Thumb Culture if I wanted to attend a preview event of Leenzee and 505 Games upcoming title Wuchang: Fallen Feather, I had intended to go into this game blind upon launch, but who can say no to playing a game early and getting to chat to the developers about it?" Kyle @ Thumb Culture
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers sets itself apart from the jump with its unique art and setting. It takes place in the land of Shu during the latter part of the Ming Dynasty. That single choice sets what I played of Wuchang apart from just about every other soulslike.
It looks cool! If the gameplay holds up, it might actually give Sekiro and Elden Ring some competition. Definitely keeping an eye on this one.
The Outerhaven writes: After spending three unrestricted hours hands-on with WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, we were was left wondering, could this game compete with the likes of Sekiro and Elden Ring?
Looks interesting. I’ll buy it physically if the game is on disc of course but I assume it will be.
More devs making quality games the better. China and India are huge markets that can bring some different ideas to gaming. I hope they continue to make quality games
Competition is only better for all of us, the consumers.
China hero project anyone??
