Songs of Silence trades some 4X grit for auto-battling, comprehensible cards and impeccable style.
TSA writes: A soaring blend of 4X strategy and auto-battler, Songs of Silence also boasts a stunning art style and soundtrack.
Review - Songs of Silence is an excellent entry into the 4X and strategy genre, even more so when this niche is thin on the ground on consoles.
NoobFeed editor Mezbah Turzo writes - Songs of Silence really tried to reach for the stars and do a lot. It strove to be a good 4x game that took elements from all across the Strategy mega-genre. It tried to ditch all of the Civ-based gameplay mechanics, but with that came too much simplicity. A large part of the game feels very barebones. The game may look great, but it has hardly anything worth of substance.
If a game is so grindy it needs autobattling I don’t want to play it. Make it fun enough to play all the way through.
