Dhalsim is one of the best characters if you know how to use him. There was a SF2 tournament way back in the 90s and the winner was actually a Dhalsim player.

perhaps you lack the skill to utilize Dhalism. Just the though of those who have master him, make me realize the incredible balance and variation in the Street Fighter Universe. With that said, Ken has always been my number one pick..........except for Marvel vs Capcom 2...then its Akuma, Ice-man...and some random third character.

Ken, all the way. His kicks in SSF2 are incredible you can make sweet technical hits.

if you actually never realy played with them, they look the same as in,, eg

army men wearing the same clothes, but different faces/ hair,
or
Macdonalds staff wearing the same clothes but looking different one has beared the other doesnt.
or i could go on....

they play sooooo differently now (sf2 was very similar but their is subtle and huge diferences between them)

if you knew his back story, he was described as being arrogant and brash. Ryu: Described as cool,calm, and collected. Thats what it said word for word for their bios in the manual.

That list was terrible, with the exception of Cammy, was the writer of the article only able to use SF2? Where's the Alpha characters? Where are the SF3 characters? Urien could hand half of those picks their @sses. I know it said they couldnt list every character, but c'mon at least make an effort.

sagat is a beast. his tiger uppercut was savage ,especially in the alpha games. for me its to hard to pick a favorite .feb 20th cant come soon enough.

this list should be in detail of which versions:

SF2 Ken &Ryu same thing ( voice difference), but they were probably the main 2 , 3rd could be Guile ( ultra cheap re-dizzy combo 5hit over), But basically if you mastered any of the world warriors you could win but it comes down.

But anyhow according to their list if they are mixing up the version together then there's no way Ryu can stay as #1

Super SF 2 Turbo, Bison & Vega was high ranking, but vs the likes of Akuma ( 1st appearance), Ken new kicks made him more a fav than Ryu. Zangief's reach with the 360 grab was crazy and hence they broke that down.

Moving on to the alpha series, Ryu & ken now more weaker, especially you can now stop the dragon punch like super SF 2 turbo. Rose andBison were good but Akuma was still better ( he dizzy easier but a good player can over come that easy)

Capcom vs SNK series, jesus so many great players but Shin akuma and God Rugal was just crazy powerful, Bison and the super style made huge difference. Chain into super moves was great. Unlimited supers ala SNK was great, but character wise Since I've mastered all charcters since SF2 I would say I love non projectile toons, more skill needed than

SF 3 ..ahhh parry parry grab ... oops , so much has changed and yet the game didn't feel like other SF , well it did and didn't, Didn't give 3rd strike a real good chance, 2nd and 1st was more solid but 3rd strike had AKuma and a new super ( was my favorite over everyone).

So basically the list of best all depends on how skilled you are.Concentrate on one or two and you can master them easier. That top 10 is to simple.
