So, if you look at the devs history this was always a concern. I knew yesterday what was going on but had held out hope for them. Even without the history, it was gonna be difficult for them to pull this off with the issues going in that part of the world right now and the forced delays. On top of all that, add in the heaviness of UE5 and you have disaster in the making.

Seems somewhat like a Cyberpunk situation although I feel a bit bad for them as it being so rough is likely a side-effect of the Ukraine-Russia War. 😑

From what I saw cyberpunk was praised on PC. It was the console versions that were really bad. The question is if this is a good game behind the technical issues...unfortunately reviewers don't know how to handle separating the two.

I wonder if these reviews were finished before that massive day-1 patch. I'm looking forward to jumping in on PC. 154.5 GB download on Steam. That's crazy, I'm gonna have to go run some errands and come back to check. If it is that jank, I'm glad Steam has a good refund policy.

Both games in well regarded franchises pushed to market and in a subscription day 1 before they were finished.

Microsoft is more than willing to take a unfinished game and push it to gamepass users there's almost no real quality control for their service

Good game with some serious potential however, on PC it’s borderline unplayable for me. Certain areas will make your fps drop to below 30 if not below 20. Had a couple of crashes as well. In time this game will be excellent unfortunately not today.

My setup is doing fine, around 5 hours in, 3080 ti, 64gb ddr4 ram, 5900x, nothing overclocked. Playing in 1440p, everything epic, dlss quality and fsr frame gen on. Some slight dips but mainly above 100 fps. Many times hitting the 140 fps. Had one visual glitch that resolved itself, couple weird audio bugs that were easily missable. That's it, must be having a bit of luck, but the game is way better than expected for me.

i got 7800x3d cpu. 32 gigs ddr5. 4070 ti super. 0 performace issues. i bet they use the trash intel cpus that has issues all around.
