I wonder if Cards that support AI machine learning can be repurposed to run character AI. Also Xbox Series supports ML via hardware. Could this be used to help save CPU cycles?

All conversations are platform-wars about this game, so people probably won't read this comment the right way.

But anyone expecting this to not be a pile of euro-jank will be sadly mistaken. I LOVE the original games as well as the sci-fi story they were based on. I'm one of the biggest fans out there.

BUT each game they've released have been deeply broken and unoptimized at first. STALKER still takes the cake as one of the most deeply unstable games I've ever played. Beautiful, immersive, cool as hell, and just broken AF.

If they manage to launch a stable game with zero/low bugs that is highly optimized across all platforms, that will be a major accomplishment and one they've never gotten close to doing.

Finally, remember that most previews are literally not allowed to talk about stability/bugs. Or if they are allowed, it is highly restricted. This isn't unique to this game, that is just how most preview NDAs are built. I reviewed games professionally for years and it always drove me nuts.

Many people forget this so will take a preview at face value for what it said not what it didn't

Day one AAA gamepass games from third parties are always red flags

Add in a review embargo that lifts 2 hours pre release and it's showing every sign of having a rough launch.

I want to believe it's not the case but we have seen this pattern before with games like pay day 3 and back 4 blood.

When publishers know their game has problems it's often easier to push it out the door and get a guaranteed payment
