I couldnt agree more. If romancing characters is your thing, you are served by many other titles. I find it all fluffy cringe and not what Im looking for,. Considering the legnths Baldurs Gate 3 went to properly reflect D&D rules and sentiments, it had no place being in that title either - its not part of the D&D world.

Optional in BG3 and optional in most games really. I'm certain Obsidian simply didn't want to allocate writers to creating romance storylines as they do take away time and money.
