I couldnt agree more. If romancing characters is your thing, you are served by many other titles. I find it all fluffy cringe and not what Im looking for,. Considering the legnths Baldurs Gate 3 went to properly reflect D&D rules and sentiments, it had no place being in that title either - its not part of the D&D world.

In other words, they wanted to save money and time, so they are going to rush this thing out to satisfy upper management. When articles like this start coming out, it's time to be suspicious.
Most are rudimentary and surface level with rare impact to the narritive.
