really? whit what exactly?

if Nintendo pushes erd party devs awayz theyd still be making billions of money.

just look at the recent first party hames sale figures.

nintendo doesnt need 3rd party devs. and they know it.

I can't wait to see the abundance of first party games on the switch 2 in a time where video game development time is longer. The switch 2 will have a lot of handheld gaming competition next year and the third party games will perform better and look better most of the time on other handheld gaming systems. The switch 2 won't be as successful as the switch now

This is Nintendo, their games look cartoony and arent as demanding, so i dont think they're going to be as affected by development times as much others. And none of the other handhelds releasing next year are going to have exclusive software, so they aren't going to be competition. Even the Steam Deck has only sold around 4m despite being more powerful, which should show that there isn't a ton of demand for handheld gaming systems that only play games that can be played else where.

Nintendo definitely needs third party devs, unless they want a repeat of the GC and Wii U. They aren't exactly fast at releasing exclusive, and without 3rd party there would be a massive game drought. Nintendo is slow to release exclusives, take away 3rd party and the casuals will abandon their system. And since the majority of their consumer base are a bunch of casuals they won't risk it.

I don’t care about third party on Nintendo. If I want to play 3rd party on handheld I’ll use my Portal.
I want some more mature leaning 1st party games from Nintendo. More games like Fire Emblem, Astra Chain, Xenoblade. I do buy games like Pokemon, Mario’s and such for my children but they don’t appeal to me anymore. I’m not saying to get rid of the kids focused games but to have more games that aren’t kids focused

I completely forgot that this was happening. I think I'll just watch highlights. I find Geoff's format grating, and doesn't really *respect my time.
