A deeply flawed attempt to combine survival horror with Devil May Cry style action, that tries to do a dozen things at once and succeeds at none of them.
Games of today just seem to forget the fun factor that PS2 games put above all else on day one. Luckily, there are some new games of today that didn’t forget that.
If I miss PS2 games I just play PS2 games. Either on PS5 or PS3 Fat. I played Summoner last year on PS5 and got the platinum it was pretty good despite its bugs. I never played the first one but did play the second one

In our Slitterhead Review we examine the latest horror experience. Will it live up to the hype, or is it another cult classic? - IS
This is exactly the issue I expected Slitterhead to face with some reviewers.
"A survival horror game that’s not scary, combined with an action game where the action falls short, isn’t a very good idea for a video game..."
But Slitterhead isn’t a survival horror game, it’s a horror game. In gaming, most horror titles incorporate survival mechanics, so people often assume the two go hand in hand. However, that’s not entirely accurate. Just as there are various types of horror across other media, from movies to books, gaming also has room for horror experiences that don’t focus on survival elements.
I don’t know… looks to me like a fun version of unknown 9 where the action is kick ass instead of lame ass.
3 out of ten is near a broken game. Reviews are all over the place for this game. I’ll buy it at some point this winter to try for myself
