First PS5 Pro Box Images Reveal Compact Packaging, PS5 Pro Enhanced Label On Game Boxes

The very first images of the box packaging for Sony's upcoming mid-gen console, the PS5 Pro, box have been revealed.

It seems all the plates are the same size between the slim and pro but the tabs specifically for the upper section do not line up. so no plate swapping between both unfortunately. The lower plates seems to be the same though... so there is that.

I think one of the worst things for PS5 is having the ability to swap plates but making them not compatible between models. And some plates were impossible to get... like the Spiderman PS5 plates.

also i dont understand why sony have not but the pro plates up for pre-order yet
so the lower plates fix must be because so the disc drive plates fits both models

They need to take out that 4k 120 and put 4k or 120 you choose how you want to play your games

Some games support native 4k 120 on base ps5. Not a lot but there is some. The rest are upscaled 4k 120. So I imagine the ones that did 1440p 120 on base ps5 may get a boost to 4k 120.

Why? It'll have some 4k120 games so why take it off. They could have even put 8k60 on the box.

The future is now. Games including GTA 6 coming out next year will look 10x better on the Pro.
