Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition announced for Switch

Publisher Nintendo and developer Monolith Soft have announced Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition for Switch. It will launch on March 20, 2025 worldwide for $59.99.

Agree, nice to have, but would have preferred a switch 2 remaster with bigger improvements, maybe even launch game to show the capabilities of the console / handheld

Note: the Nintendo switch version is based off the western version of the Wii U title, which potentially (not confirmed) could mean the outfit changes and removal of the breast slider for the female character creation

Normally I'd say that's too much but for how huge the game is, new story elements and it not selling well on the Wii U I'm fine with it. I have over 500 hours into the game on Wii U.

I am so going to buy this game! So much improvement from the original. But I am also hoping for a Switch 2 port with much more improvement as well.
