PlayStation support has seemingly confirmed the removal of cheaper PSN wallet credit options on PS Stars, based on the latest information.

It’s stupid how some ppl can still redeem for $10, while others can’t redeem for anything at all. Way to split the user base. Who thought this through? 😤

On my account ALL of the bonus funds rewards are gone while others can still do it to some degree.

I only had the $15 dollar option left, redeemed three times to use up my points yesterday.

I am a Sony fanboy, but this is not cool, if they want to remove it, at least give people plenty of time to redeem first.

I think the perception is changing. It used to be - if you criticise Sony, you are Xbot.
I've never had Xbox in my life. People are starting to see that lately Sony also is a shit show, and outright scummy moves should be pointed out.

I don't like this move, and I don't like some of the decision they made, but PlayStation is still by FAR the best place to game. I am waiting for my PS5 Pro to arrive to replay some of the classic.

Shitty decisions by executive doesn't change the abilities of their amazing game studios. Sure, the live service direction wasted a lot of time, but at least we know their next game will still be amazing.

I am also sticking with Playstation, it is just good to see that people are calling them out.
Remember 4theplayers hashtag during ps4 era? We are now so opposite from that where Sony doesn't listen what people actually want.

The inconsistency in who has what options available to them is wild. I think the announcement was that they were ditching the £5 option and leaving the £10 option but the reality is all over the shop. Why.

Pretty disappointing that they did this. All these bad changes are making PS Stars pointless. I assume that they're going to shut it down entirely in the future, like they're doing with Sony Rewards.
